Finally I just fed the connector and wire through, and then installed the new bulbs and put the lense back on. As of now the lense is simply holding the light in, but tommorrow I will epoxy the socket to the plastic so it stays put. I think it looks pretty cool, and it shows up pretty well when the blinkers or hazzards are on...
Hopefully this mod proves to be useful to anyone on here with first gens with custom front bumpers looking to relocate their blinkers.
