And after some major hacking with the jigsaw, this is what I ended up with....


The light socket assembly shaved down as small as possible....
Now, I found that the same result can be achieved easier with a dremel...I cut it out alot cleaner here...

but use your weapon of choice....keep in mind there is a thin aluminum reflector piece inside so youll have to cut through that too...
