I just used mine transmission from my 1990 4runner.  The newer trans will move things back a inch or so, not sure on exact measurement.  I was going to use the newer trans because it had less miles on it but started looking and found it moves alot of stuff. With yours you can leave the slave cylinder in the same location and don't have to mess with moving the lines around.  it bolts right up and everything stays in the same location.  All you need is the 3.4 flywheel, clutch, pressure plate.  Then use the 3.0L throwout bearing.  Why you use the 3.0 throwout bearing is the 3.4 is longer. and will not work properly.
