I ride a 1983 Honda CB1100F SuperSport. I wear a full face Arai hat, long sleeves, gloves, trousers, and boots. Even on the hottest days I wear this. I rode dirt and street. I've hit the floor a few times. Doc had to cauterize an exposed nerve on my elbow with the ol' lunar caustic after I wadded up a bike on HWY 41 in Fresburg. I was wearing a short sleeve shirt then.
After your first asphalt ballet being half naked. You'll probably bundle up a little more. Picking gravel out of your palms, knees and elbows sucks
