$2500 doesnt seem too bad, that engine does have some issues though, i am not quite sure if it applies to the 92, but the earlier 3.0s had common head gasket failures, and there were tsbs about them
i would rather spend $2500 on building a differnt truck though... i currently have about $1500 into my build.... and its an 84 solid axle ext cab... it was back registration, and didnt have an engine, but i already had the engine from my rolled truck and the $600 it took in registration was figured into my $1500 figure
