You are probalby going to have to run more wires down the driver's side fenderwell for the AFM.  I think it would be best to just get a entire dash harness out of a similar year donor truck and swap it over if you want efi.

I agree.  That's the best way to convert.  That's how I did my 84 EFI conversion.  I used both the entire dash harness.
