Usually the timing chain only makes noise when you start the engine cold.  It will rattle until oil pressure builds and the tensioner takes the slack out of the chain.  Unless you have a bad tensioner or broken guides.  But you would hear this with the truck stationary...


i sure hope its not the timing chain...
