read the gear code on the ID plate it will start with a G then there will be 3 numbers here are the codes, "G" means 8" diff the two middle #'s are the gear code and the 3rd # is the pinion info

G14=4.875 2= 2 pinion open diff
G25=4.556 3= 2 pinion limited slip
G28=4.30 4= 4 pinion open diff
G29=4.10 5= 4 pinion limited slip
G30=3.91
G38=3.42
G43=3.56
G54=3.90
G66=3.07
so your gear code with 4.10's would look like this G292 (the 2 on the end if it is open)
