I also own a Toy and a Cummins Dodge. If I was you I would sell the Toy and buy a Dodge. My Dodge is a six speed so I would say stay away from the auto. If you do get a Dodge with a manual trans all you need is a pyrometer and a chip called the Edge EZ for an amazing tow rig. This isn't the highest horsepower and torque option but it is a good starting point at minimal cost. The VP44 can be an issue if proper fuel pressure is not maintained. Again an easy fix with several after market fuel systems available. The dowel pin people mentioned earlier is only an issue with older trucks (01 is fine). After you have your Dodge fixed up you can save for a Toy! Goodluck, Eric
