I love the truck! There are not many people who have lined trucks. When the color starts to fade it will look like crap though. Do you have to go back every year or so to re-color it? When the shine gets faded you can spray no touch tire foam on it to bring back the gloss.
Why did you remove the defroster? Do you not wheel in the rain? Are you leaving the window glass out?
I'm really hoping that it doesn't fade. I used Durabak liner on it that has UV inhibitors in it so hopefully it won't fade too bad. As for the defroster, I'm probably going to put in one of the aftermarket heater/defrosters in it because I do like to wheel in the rain and winter time. Oh, and the glass will be going back in. The old windshield was cracked pretty bad so I just ripped it out and I've got the factory sliding back window to put back in as soon as I find the new seals for it.
