They are pretty much universal, however some slight wiring changes were made after 1988 I believe.

I *think* 1984-1988 inst. clusters are all directly interchangeable, and 1989-1995 are interchangeable.

I know that a 1993 has the same wiring but in different plug and pin locations when installed into a 1985. I did this with Bevin's 3RZ conversion as his '85 had no tach so we swapped in a '93 SR5 unit from a wrecking yard.
