I live in a rural area of Northern kommifornia. We only check smog at the time of sale, then there are no more checks if you retain ownership or sell to a relative. Lot's of relatives here. Cash works well in muffler shops...
That is cause you live in stupid kommifornia. I just did header, turbo muffler, no cat, 2.25 inch pipe on mine, it is just about perfectly quiet with a nice tone when reved up. I am an old man when it comes to noise, I like teh quiet.
