I've got similar problems in my 80... All the rubber is screwed and you could get into the truck just my using a knife or key or something similarly shaped... Anyway, best bet would seem to be replacing the window, at least that's what I'm gonna do. Somebody parting out a truck might have a newer one they could sell you for cheap, or you might just try calling your local glass place and see how much it'd be. The windscreen in my tacoma was only like $130, with at home service and installation.
