well i personally am way safer on a dirtbike, quads scare the
out of me because they dont turn like dirtbikes but for a beginner to putting around trails i think a quad would be safer. Easier to ride in the dunes as well for a beginner. When i ride the dunes to stay on top of the sane i have to be pretty much tapped out in 4th.
