Honda recently came out with their crf150r(not to be confuse with the 150f). Cr85 frame with a 150 4 stroke motor. Decent power and about 70 pounds lighter than the 230. Available in a big wheel version also.

A 230 in the sand is going to make everyone unhappy. Overweight and underpowered = not going anywhere for a while. Had a friend who didn't listen and bought a ttr 225 or 250. Went to the dunes in Idaho and stayed at camp becuase it would go anywhere. When we got home he traded it in on a wr450.
