Oh man, just an update...
Went to parts store to pick out a filter...At the counter (no offence to women in general) was this chick who just looked haggard, and I've dealt with before, doesn't know jack. I tried to avoid her by looking towards the counters where guys were, but were also already serving customers, finally she asks if she can help. So I tell her I have to find a K&N filter with a 3" I/D flange. She gets the book, and can't actually read the catalogue...Instead I have to listen to her pregnant dog about how "they list this stupid
so hard to read" finally she grabs aguy and he goes to a different section and gets at least into the filters with a 3" I/D and we put the order in, but the dimensions of the filter don't sound right...4.5" diameter, 5" long. I guessI have to wait till friday and see how it shows up...but I have a feeling I'm going to be denying it and having to order another.
