I had a place called HT Machine build my hybrid for me. Tim from DOA recommended them. From my understanding he used to work with them before he moved east. Anyway, they've seemingly built quite a few hybrids, 22r's, et cetera, and they didn't seem to think a break in period was even necessary. Now don't get my wrong, I'm taking it easy for the first 1000 miles and then I'll change the oil and go at it, but when I told them that's what I was going to do they pretty much just smirked and said "If you'd like." Not sure how abnormal this sounds, just my experience.
