I use the RPM ranging method. Gotta have some time on your hands though but it works well.

Run the truck for around 30 min at 1500 rpm
Run the truck for around 30 min at 2500 rpm

go up in 1000 rpm increments until your running it around 4500 rpm for roughly 15 min's

This will give the engine that range of rpm's that it will probably see daily and will break everything in with increments.

 

Do you run with a load (driving down the road) or just revving the engine in the garage?
