There could be a little body flex invloved but not likely that much. Do this so you are certain as to the problem. 1st cut those stupid boots off, next take a tiewrap and attach it to the exposed rod right at the end of the can, now take it out on a run and see what happens to the tiewrap. If it gets smashed or completly disapears you know your shocks are bottoming. You may be able to tell just by cutting the boots off if you can see a dirt line on the rod. If it is 100% shinny it is bottoming.
