i like the weber 32/36 for its tuneability.  it WILL make your truck perform better than any stock carb as long as it's jetted right.

however it can be a little frustrating tuning it by feel if you don't have a lot of experience, i'd recommend a wide band O2 sensor with A/F gauge(i need one).  not quite as quick to adjust as something like a 4 barrel, you gotta pull the top off the carb.  not too bad, just a little time consuming.

also i'd recommend a low pressure electric fuel pump, webers don't run too well(especially offroad) with a 7psi mechanical pump like most 22Rs have.  mine puts out about 4lbs of pressure at the most.
