Whoa. I lived in Hesperia when I was a kid and we always used to do that trail. Haven't seen it in over 10 years.

But, wait, they put a bridge over Deep Creek?!!? Up at the top or somewhere else? That sucks!
It's a huge cement bridge that goes over the creek so no driving in the water anymore. You would probably remember that if you've been there. Sucks for sure, now you can get anything across. They did it to stop siltation downstream but created a larger problem of people swimming in the creek instead. I thought of taking a picture of it when we were there but why would I want something so depressing as that. Here's some more pictures through a link by another club member......
