Well, I got the oil return line done and fired this bad boy up.

It sounds quiet compaired to what it did before. I didn't run it long cause it is late and the garage was closed up. Had to open the door to air it out. Cough cough hack hack.

I did find out the turbo seems tight and only turns once you rev the engine up past idle. It may be gummed up from sitting, it may also be kinda big for this engine.

I have to install the boost gauge and finish up the piping tomorrow, then we can go for a test drive and see what happens.

Turbos are NEVER too big on a diesel, you might be a little short on fuel but that can always be changed.  :biggthumpup:
