tranny is different, its cheaper to source a 4x4 tranny.... internally the trannies are the same but the output shafts arent... and the 4x2 tranny would need to have that swapped out
hmmmmm for a 90-95 i am not 100% sure about, but i know the parts were relatively universal at that point... mechanically, the 84-95 4x2s were the same suspensionwise, etc, xcept the addition of the v6 in the late 80s
