I have been thinking about a supra motor next winter, I thought about a 350, 4.3, 302, etc..    All those swaps are popular not because people copy each other, but because they work great for most people and are easy to do.  I don't think there is anything wrong with any motor as long as it fits your needs and your driving style.

I don't put my truck in low rang and crawl over large rocks,  I hold it to the rev limiter and drop the clutch to tear as much :pokinit: up as possible, that means a high revving motor is for me.  I also live in western Washington were it is always muddy with hills and holes everywhere so I need wheel spin, and a rev happy motor that obviously makes enough power up top, is not a problem, besides, high revs please crowds  :gap:
