stop hitting the rocks. 
you've obviously never actually wheeled before. My drain plug is so smashed and packed with crap that I don't think it is gonna come off. You could also just throw a spot weld on there and grind it off when you want to drain it but i think shaving is the best thing to do for other reasons too
