just going to add a minoote amount to what mike said. when i was putting my lc engine into my 85, the original plan was to run the stock toyota turbo setup. my engine is at 9.5:1 compression and lc said that as long as i didn't run over 7psi and ran high octane i should not have a problem. granted i never did it, i say give her a try just keep the psi down
