well i remember the springs the mammoth had on its way out to MCR4  and how they looked on the way home ,  and I'm sure they were the imports  :yikes:   no where near a stock Toyota quality spring

I'm glad they found something better and USA


Not saying the springs I had for MCR4 were bad imports or USA. If you saw what we did to those poor springs you would understand why they looked like they did.

We had over 650 lbs of gear in the back and more on the roof. Most of the steep climbs were done on the rear wheels only and the springs in the rear are front springs.

There was some sharp bends from axle wrap because they weren't made for rear use.

The new springs have held up good so far, but I still need to install an overload to help stop the axle wrap.
