a2tmich: i have 1989  v6 3.0 5 spd eec (engine computer) was working fine when i removed from truck(eng change to chev 1998 4.3 vortec) should work for your 1988.  $50 + shipping . also have distibutor & ign coil. let me know. thanks                         toyrocs.

98 4300 vortec,4l60e auto/klunev 2.72/5.0 atlas II case/crawl ratio 427:1 ,dana 60f 14b arbs,full exo cage/ tray back, 3 link front 4 link rear, 44" sampers (summer) 46" claws( winter) double beadlocks , Firestone Airsprings, AirRock active handling & ride controll etc etc.
