I attached an EFI intake manifold to my carbeurated head and it bolted right up.  I used 85 Celica 22RE parts onto my 84 pickup 22R motor.  My motor is the older style with the hemi heads and domed pistons, but it all works great.  Finished it off with a TRD cam and header and it runs like mad.  You should'nt have any problems bolting your EFI stuff onto that long block.
