sweet, I've been scheming on creative ways to attach it to the original driveshaft in such a manner that would have it center itself, like use the lathe to put a taper in the female material in such a way that it will sort of wedge itself in there nicely. but as to how to attach it to the original is tough, maybe fab up some little arc shaped pieces to fit on each side of the square? Or cut four notches in the d-shaft and weld the notches to the corners of the female piece. Maybe I'll do it one of these weekends once it warms up a little..
