there is a guy i wheel with with a 350 carbed with 4 speed tranny,4.38 gears, 38 super swamper sx's and he crawls great he just went from 4.10s to my old 4.38's i took out of my truck when i swaped in 5.29's and he crawls much better now. so with the auto it should be fine if u dont have the $ for a crawler but if u can afford it id go with duels because u can always shift it back into high range if u want the origional low range but always have that extra stick too go even slower.
