I had a similar problem-due to my own stupidity, when I cut the hole for my second case, I didn't account for the added torque movement and the edge of the cut ended up cutting the crap out of the shift boot- a little more filing/bending and a new shift boot have made life much better except for the residual gear oil on the carpet that was getting wet. ew.
