Oh yeah the factory 10mm bolts are stronger than anything that you can buy at the parts store, keep it toyota and you wont have a prob, and as for yotarich you have a 94' which has the 10mm bolts and you tried to but the weak 82' 4cyl 8mm thrid in you axle which is why you had to change over to the 10mm.  all toyotas before 84' have 8mm and all 84' and newer have 10mm v6 and 4cyl.  good luck on you axle swap you will love how it handles when you done.
