why would you put add a leafs all around? they make it so stiff, i hope your kidneys can handle that.

That would depend on the kind of leaf being installed, is it a load leaf or is it a long leaf. There are some that don't make the ride any more stiff than stock, Downey has one as does Rancho and they give about 1 1/2 inches of lift.

As to your question the ubolts come longer than what you could ever use and you cut them down once installed.
