Being a toyota fan since I started driving I am going to say toyota. They have more options and support for mods, more people have them so there is more knowledge available and you wont have to deal with detachable or leather tops. Unless you do a 4 runner of course. It just seems the options for toyotas are far more than that of a samari. Plus, if you buy a samari you will end up running toyota running gear in the long run. From what I have read.
