I think you will find that more people modify Toys so it would be easier to get support, spare parts, advice, etc. for them.  If you want to be different go with the Sami. You might have to do a little more to get it to the same state as a toy though.  Personally, I am building a toy but would like to have a Sami on the side one day.  Do whatever you want.  Don't take advice from others on what YOUR truck should be.  You'll know.
