i'd think he'd have to put in new mounts for the shocks, and yes you can use stock springs, though i'd check pirate for some cheap YJ springs, they work great with the SOA YJs i've seen, tho i've got some mixed and matched Old Man Emu with some YJ leaves in, and it works awesome
