I was talking with my buddy about the rules and stuff and we figured that for a comp atmosphere, you don't want extreme low gearing because it is a race against the clock. You can get plenty of gearing out of the cases and have a stronger drivetrain by running 4.10s. This will cut down on the time needed to drag the fool off the course running 5.71s and slowing the competition down. He has duals with a 4.7 in the rear but he said that in his full bodied comps, he only engaged the front case maybe a total of 2 times so he's thinking of running just dual stock cases. Much different mind set when you're running for time than when you're just f'ing around on the trail!  :driving:
