Rockscrambler, I think you're thinkin of a Toyota motorhome. These were more like a first gen with a shell and no wall between the cab and bed. The trekkers had a flush mount shell but others had a shell that bumped up like the older shells.
no it looked more like the pic battletoy posted but the top was about six inches taller than the cab of the truck. I can't tell if the top on that one removeable or not but my teachers was because I saw it without the shell one day. and it had just a back seat no bed , no nothing. I was thinking about it and I  don't think it was called a trekker though it was called a sun------- something? but i just can't quite remember what.
 but I called one of my buddies who still lives back in Florida and that teacher is still teaching there and she said she would ask if she runs into her .
