So, if I put the stock rear springs up front, do I have to add more leaves to get the lift I want.  I know those will move the front axle 2" forward and that should help with my firewall clearance I need.  I will also have to weld on part of an old spring pack to the right side spring perch to get it to sit level, correct?  I took a look at my '85 and it doesn't look like I can drill the front spring perch forward 1 1/2".  Was yours a SAS conversion joez? or were you possibly talking about relocating the centering pin on the springs themselves?
