Chevyguy, Crawlerdan wasn't refering to toyota as making the first 4x4. He said that the first 4x4 by toyota was made in that year. It doesn't matter if it was production or not, Jeep wasn't the first 4x4. rear toyota 8 inch is stronger then a rear Dana 44 too.
