for a spring under application they will provide much less left than that.  the people who are saying that the 5" springs are giving an actual 6" lift are on a spring over toyota 8" shackle found on 79-85 pickups and 4runners as well as sas'd newer models.  i'd say run the 4" and do a spring over setup, or run a waggy or toyota rear pack or both.  i know on a jeep or samurai a spring over conversion adds 5.5" of lift approximately so its hard to say what a D44 sprung over on a 2000 toyota will do.
