I am in Canada, BC ... shipping the tranny to marlin is cost prohibitive (as most tings are) ...

I have done pretty much everything except motor and trans rebuild .. Couldnt find any good info on tranny rebuild on the web so its either so easy you dont need instructions or so hard it should be left to the pro ..

I have an R150 that needs a home sitting on my garage floor. Too bad you are in Canada. Shipping is indeed prohibitive.

I'll make another plug for getting a service manual. I really think they are worth having and it will answer almost all the questions you have about this project.
