Ok, 1979 to 1995 Toyota's have 6 different style bolt patterens. 5 different flanges for the gear driven case's, 2 different flanges for chains case's behind 5spd's, and 3 for auto t-cases. The chain 5spd and auto's cases have 30 spline flanges while the gear drive has 27 spline. The auto spline is also more of a square shape. Because the front auto flange is not round its not the best for "re-drilling". We have in the past sloted the holes to use a CV. The best way is to use a rear Auto T-case flange. It has the correct splines and is round so re-drilling the bolt pattern is a cake walk or a Tacoma CV will bolt right to it. The flange you have pictured is a V6 CV joint pattern. If you clearence the V6 CV it will have the proper movement.
