I was sleepin under an oak tree on a cot (no tent) and woke up to 2 coons fighting right above my head. I was freaked out, they're huge, and if one of em had landed on me I dunno what I'da done!! 
dang girl, you got way more guts then me, no way I would sleep outside without a tent! That's creepy, and then the coons fighting, musta really freeked you out!
But they are pretty cute little guys. There was a restaurant not far from here where they were real docile, you could hand them bits of food. They were so cute with their little hands, like they were wearing little leather gloves.
