Very simple.

Take your 4x4 wires loose from top of the t-case, take your speedo cable loose, unplug your backup *reverse* light wires that connect to the tranny. Take all the bolts loose from the bell housing and pull the starter loose, Slave cylinder comes loose and pulled out of the way.

I usually leave the crossmember attached for last and set the jack under the T-case while i loosen the crossmember, once it's all loose just pull back and it'll slip right now.

Sometimes they come out with ease sometimes its a PITA.

I suggest having atleast one more person with you, maybe two so one can hold the jack in place while your pull the tranny back.

not to sound like a smartass or nothing,but you'll wanna take the driveshafts loose too.
