At the rear of the battery spot should be a hoop for a "J" bolt to hook into, then the other end of the battery hold down bolts to a captured nut on the radiator core support.  A piece of flat steel with two holes in it would be best, but if you can't get to that this week then maybe you could do the same but get away with some plumbers tape or something of the like that already has holes in it.  Thinking about it, kragen's should have a universal hold down with J hooks as well.  Keep in mind that you still need the plastic battery tray installed to keep the battery from moving side to side, and then the hold down for the up down movement.  My brother had his battery slide into the A/C belt once.  Something to stop the side to side movement also keeps the battery from sliding and having the hold down short out on the positive battery post.
