I would keep a toyota a toyota, I would use a non turbo 7MGE motor. 200 hp and about 180 pound feet torque. The truck tranny will bolt right up to the supra bell housing. I have a freshly rebuilt 7M in my garage with 0 miles on it that I want to put into my 83 yota.
