 :clap:    My bad, you're right, that doesn't make much sense now that i think about it.  My brother usually doesn't know what he's talking about.  Let me clear this up a little.  Would have been easier bcause i found one at the yard, and didn't take a close look at it, and the next day it was gone.

So, on say my 83 transmission, the shifter goes right into the top of the transmission and that's it.  On the older model the shifter goes down the pass. side of the tranny and supposedly has a linkage of somekind or something which actually shifts through th side of the tranny.  My dad and brother said there is a slave cylinder looking thing there, seperate from the clutch slave cylinder.

Does anyone know what i am talking about.  Or can someone just take a good pic of that area if you have this transmission.
