picture of the broken front shortside inner axle. I also broke a nuckle stud on the passenger side.
the small piece was stuck in the birf so i had to weld the plate to it to be able to pull it out. I welded it using 2 batteries and jumper cables. All i had was thin welding rod so i had to use it. It would have gotten more penetration with 3 batteries, but it worked with just 2. not pretty welds since all i could make was lots of tacks. I am going to pull the front apart later this week and see what else broke, the detriot is broke for sure but don't know what else. Gonna leave the cab as is but i need an inner roll cage.
